You know that feeling of being stuck? Being in a limbo, not knowing what to do next, how to proceed. Why would anyone care? What am I doing this for etc.
Why not use it to your advantage. Coming out of this limbo is always enjoyable. Pick up a camera, the only way is up.
I can so much relate to this. Just recently I was feeling so down because of all the routine that wouldn’t let me get out and shoot at least for an hour. I think I started to develop some sort of photographer’s depression, and then I had that evening when I just went for it. And I still don’t know what I’ve got on that roll of film (new developer is on its way to help me), but I felt such a relief just walking and taking pictures.
The second photo is so great, btw. A direct reminder to never forget why you picked that hobby up in the first place.
Thanks Ivan, i’m glad you’re back on track. Looking forward to seeing your latest stuff!
I think that kind of pressure comes from the outside really, the thing about “Why would anyone care? What am I doing this for?” but I do know what you mean.
Yes and its heavily social media based assumptions which are ridiculous… The only person you’re doing this for is Yourself (unless you work for clients)
Yes, Yuri, know the feeling all too well. In real life as well as in my photography at times. Great series of photos about being stuck! Marcus
Everybody goes through it at some point. You just have to grind it out
this in the middle is priceless !
Thanks my friend
