This week wasn’t as active as the previous one but I still managed some things, edited some shots etc. Personal quarantine projects are nearing final stages.
I think the overall atmosphere and feeling here in Montpellier and maybe all over France that people are very anxious to come out and be liberated from this lockdown. Just under two weeks to go… Meantime, the fun with a camera never ends. The image below is taken by my son Jules.
And here are the highlights from the last few days:
- Believe it or not, I have watched The Goonies for the first time last year… I know guys, what can I say, that film somehow escaped me in my childhood! Watching it at 36 doesn’t have the same effect but I still loved it! Any Goonies fans out there? Well, the cast have reunited recently for an online chat! Enjoy
- If you haven’t heard the story of Jacques Henri Lartigue, make sure you check out this -“The boy who photographed La Belle Epoque de France“.
- Every weekend I attend a Quiz Evening online with my friends. This great tradition has started during the lockdown and it would be interesting to see if it lasts after… I was in charge of the music round so if you guys wanna have some fun with your friends online, I compiled this list of 20 songs from International artists. Rules are simple: 1) Guess the artist 2)Guess the song 3) Guess where the artist is from. Play a bit or a whole song, it’s up to you! Blind test on spotify https://open.spotify.com/playlist/5s0uRYIz3bb8debNxI6fic?si=o3-S9K2rSI6MInilNjPwuQ
- Netflix time – I finished an amazing “Vikings” series and looking forward to the next season. Other favourites on my watchlist are “After Life 2” and a documentary about one of the greatest sports teams to exist Chicago Bulls “The Last Dance“. I remember waking up at 4am to watch the NBA finals and obviously be completely mesmorized by the legend – Michael Jordan. An artist in its’ own right.
Thanks for visiting and take care of yourself!

I need a pair of glasses like that. People might take me more seriously. Is the Vikings series you watched the one based on the books by Bernard Cornwell which started with The Last Kingdom?
Vikings is inspired by the sagas of Viking Ragnar Lothbrok, one of the best-known legendary Norse heroes and notorious as the scourge of England and France.
I really enjoyed The Last Kingdom so if you did too, you’ll love The Vikings.
I think Jules has got your photography talent 🙂 what a fun shot!! 🙂
Haha thanks Alexandra! He is definitely having a lot of fun with it.
Another talent is in the wild !
Those glasses remind me of Elton John in his early days.
So true haha! Thanks Terry
You’re welcome…Teri
