After a very atmospheric last post the sun came back out to greet and accompany us on further travels.
We did a short trip from Les Angles to another nearby ski station and village “Font Romeu” where our friends were staying. We spent an afternoon watching the local car racing show but as I wasn’t interested in that one little bit the photo of a priest capturing the view just by the race tracks was the one memorable to me.

The next day we visited an ancient merchant town Villefrance-de-Conflent situated about an hour drive from Les Angles.
A beautiful little village with medieval history, built as a defensive site in the 11th Century and later fortified in the 17th.

These are getting better and better. What an incredibly scenic location to spend the afternoon, such a place of natural beauty. Wonderful images, I’m sure this was a great day.
