December lights

December in south of France has been fairly warm this year… as usual. We had a few very cold, frosty days. I’m not complaining but i do miss proper winter. When snow covers the city. It happened in Montpellier back in 2010. We had snow in March!! it was unbelievable… In this post I’d like […]Read Post ›

Containing colour

Lately I find it more and more difficult to shoot in colour. I mean, there will be less colour keepers than B&W images. There are a few reasons for this and the first one is that it is much more difficult to make colour images that work. Colour is harder to control and contain and if […]Read Post ›

Through the archives

Hi guys, This is going to be another visual diary entry. Those photos were taken in December of 2016. I was going through my archives and saw that some images were left unseen. The two photos below were taken by the Palace of Justice. I like walking around that area as it is very photogenic. […]Read Post ›

About dogs

There is not much to write about this one really. Selected photographs of dogs and their owners, taken in 2015, 2016. Thanks for visiting!

Warming up for Christmas

As days have become shorter I have a bit more time to shoot in late afternoon. The city of Montpellier is pretty much ready for Christmas. The decorative lights are on every evening all round the city. The smell of hot chestnuts, nuttella and hot red wine are all over the Christmas market.

I love both!

I am still undecided about wether I should stick to B&W OR colour. I seem to long for that consistent look and feel of my photos. Surely, that can only be achieved by sticking to one OR the other?

“2 km” photo series

This post is a part of my visual diary. The title of the series refers to the distance from the Tram stop to my place of work.
