Monday Masters : Graciela Magnoni

Hi guys, we missed our Monday feature on Masters of photography so we’re back with a bang! Anyone who would like to participate – choose a photographer whose work inspires you and share it across social media. GO! This week I chose a photographer whom I discovered on Instagram. Her work continues to inspire me […]Read Post ›

The revelation

I wonder if any of you street shooters remember that turning point, that moment, if you even had one, when you realise the magic of street photography.

Notes to self: Why comes before How

Again, I’d like to mention that everything that’s written here is my subjective view, some of you may relate and some may argue the point but I find it’s important to write these things down, cement my trail of thoughts at present time and share with you guys along the way.

Monday Masters : Tadeusz Rolke

Hi guys, it’s been a while since the last Monday Masters post. However, a few days ago Chris suggested to change it up a little bit so he came up with the following idea:

The result?

Elaborating on something heard on a recent photo podcast: People often say, it’s become so easy now. You have your digital camera with LCD screen. You take a photo and can immediately check the result on screen. But are you seeing the result? I think its an important question to ask.

Monday Masters : Paul Strand

Welcome to another instalment of Monday Masters. I’m happy to notice that our weekly educational and inspirational challenge is growing little by little. We have a new member Paul Carmody joining us this week which means he got to nominate the Master. He chose the legendary photographer – Paul Strand.

Monday Masters : George Georgiou

Today in our weekly Monday Masters post, we explore the work of George Georgiou. Georgiou is a British photographer and photojournalist who has photographed extensively in the Balkans, Eastern Europe and Turkey for the last decade, living and working in Serbia, Greece and for nearly five years in Istanbul. His work has focused on transition […]Read Post ›

Monday Masters: Tony Ray Jones

Today we look into Tony Ray Jones photographic work. I’ve heard about this English photographer before but never really had a chance to properly look at his work. Now its perfect time to do it as David Barrett has joined our weekly Monday masters challenge and nominated Jones. The mission – pick a favourite image!

#Streetchat 2 “What is a good street photograph?”

Hi there, Streetchat is back! As my friend Chris couldn’t make this time, I was delighted to be joined by few friends photogs on Twitter this weekend. By using the hashtag #streetchat we connected this saturday afternoon and talked about photography and about What makes a good street photograph.

Go with the quote #2

Every thursday of the week I try to share some quotes from well known and unknown artists, writers, painters, creative people in general. These quotes speak to me and inspire me to continue doing what I’m doing, so hopefully there will be something useful for you dear reader.
